Location

In the Cascade/South Lake Union Neighborhood

Here are some links to Metro and Google, to ease your journey to Sukha Yoga.

Metro Route 66 Metro Route 70 Metro Route 8 Metro Route 25

There is on street parking (metered) close to the studio, but the BEST way to get here is to Bus, Bike or Walk!

google-walk Seattle

type in the destination as 1200 Thomas St  Seattle .

From 1200 Thomas St, which is our beautiful neighborhood P-patch, - walk 1/2 block East on the south side of Thomas to the alley, take a right turn (heading south) down this alley to the second set of buildings on your right (they show up on the google map).  The studio entrance is the last ground floor door in the building painted red with white stripes.  A painting of dancing Ganesh is on the door!

…If you are wondering why I have not put the physical address on this site- there is good reason.  The studio is considered a ‘Home Occupation’, and by City Codes, I cannot put the address on any media.  Think of it as a ’speakeasy yoga studio’ ;)  I’ll be giving out the secret pass-word soon…..(just kidding).

Please call if you have troubles with these directions- 206.658.5630.

About sukha yoga

For Sukha Yoga-‘good space- for the study of yoga’ I consider the following core values as the cornerstones for this project: ::: To actively practice Ahimsa in all interdependent relationships and interactions. ::: To uphold the highest standards of the teachings of Yoga- honoring the lineage of the teachers, the origins from which the teachings come. ::: To uphold the highest integrity in all decision making- never compromising Satya- Truth, for the desire to advance monetarily. ::: To welcome and embrace all people seeking out the study of Yoga- free from judgment, specifically based on race, sexual orientation, physical abilities or spiritual and religious beliefs. ::: To uphold the highest standards of communication between the teacher and the student(s) who choose to study here- to ensure the quality of safe space where the student(s) can receive the knowledge they need to deepen their practice. Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu- May all beings everywhere be happy and free. Om shanti, shanti, shantih- Namaste
